Paris Medieval Private Tour: Ile de la Cite, Sainte Chapelle & Conciergerie
« Joanna guided us around the outside of Notre Dame and through Sainte-Chapel and the Conciergerie. She was most delightful and knowledgeable.
My favorite moment was when she stopped to chat with one of the construction workers at one of the Notre Dame construction site entrances. She gathered some up to the minute information about the work and treated the worker with great respect.
We would definitely ask for Joanna on a future visit. »
« This tour was well worth the money! Joanna was fabulous. She considers the Louvre to be her second home and it really showed. One could spend days wondering around the Louvre and not see everything. Like most tourists, we didn’t have days. Joanna helped us avoid the crowds while showing us some of the most important pieces in the museum, including, of course, the Mona Lisa. She was pleasant and knowledgeable and very gracious with her time. Thanks so much for a wonderful tour! »
« Joanna was our guide – she was superb!!:) :)The tour was fantastic – we didn’t have to queue anywhere, we saw all the best bits and Joanna answered all of our questions and told us everything we needed to know. « Unforgettable evening tour of the Louvre Museum with JOANNA ».
« If your ever put off by the long queues and too many people at the Louvre, Friday evenings it is open until 10pm and is the best time to see with a guided tour. Myself and my friend had an unforgettable tour with guide Joanna. We entered the museum via a side entrance with no queue and didn’t have to queue for the ticket either. Joanna was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions as well as giving us a greater understanding of this gigantic monument. I would highly recommend this tour for people new to Paris and people who have been to the Louvre before but felt they didn’t get enough information and understanding about the key elements of this museum. It can be quite overwhelming on your own.

« Our guide, Joanna, was absolutely terrific. My wife and I often find museums to be very large with much to display so we end up wandering and not getting a sense of what we were looking at. Joanna was delightful and well versed in art history so was able to put the role of the d’Orsay in perspective by showing us the important works and their role in the evolution of art in the museum.
She also took the time to understand what interested us (in this case it was Van Gogh since we had been to Arles earlier in the week. When the tour ended we felt we had had an excellent presentation and had gained an understanding of the d’Orsay.
When we return to Paris we would do this again, it is well worth the cost. »
